We have some World Exclusive STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS plot facts for you today that not even TMZ could bring you. Our inside source reports that it will be revealed that Emperor Palpatine is indeed still alive. A flashback scene will be shown to explain how Palpatine was able to survive. The source also reports that Ian McDiarmid will return to portray the character, and that he will be partially burned and will wear a mask. This of course raises many questions as to what the future will hold for the STAR WARS Universe.

J. J. Abrams directs the screenplay which was written by himself and Lawrence Kasdan. Kathleen Kennedy, Abrams, and Bryan Burk are set to produce. John Williams will once again return with his one of a kind scoring ability.

Abrams recently made it known that the original returning characters will be the main focus versus being background filler.

The film stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow, all of whom join Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker from the original saga.

We will continue to bring you more as we hear it. STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS will be in theaters on December 18th, 2015.
