Bringing you the best in Horror Movie News, and all things Horror.
Just last night we brought you the Breaking World Exclusive news on STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS that it will be revealed that Emperor Palpatine is indeed still alive. A flashback scene will be shown to explain how Palpatine was able to survive and Ian McDiarmid will once again be returning to portray the character. We also have learned that The Emperor will be partially burned and will be wearing a mask.
Today we bring you yet another STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS World Exclusive that not even Entertainment Tonight or TMZ could bring you. We have learned that The Emperor will end up being a mentor to Luke Skywalker. Wearing a mask, Luke will not realize who his new mentor truly is and this will lead to Skywalker eventually turning to the Dark Side. In the second teaser trailer we see imagery of Darth Vadar's remains which will tie into this major revelation.
As shown in both of the teaser trailers (see below) we get some quick shots of a mysterious cloaked figure. Who could this figure truly be? Quite possibly The Emperor, or maybe even Luke himself.
J. J. Abrams directs the screenplay which was written by himself and Lawrence Kasdan. Kathleen Kennedy, Abrams, and Bryan Burk are set to produce. John Williams will once again return with his one of a kind scoring ability.
Abrams recently made it known that the original returning characters will be the main characters and will receive heavy focus versus being background filler.
The film stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow, all of whom join Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker from the original saga.
We will continue to bring you more as we hear it. STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS will be in theaters on December 18th, 2015.
