Stephen King Gives His True Opinion On THE STAND Remake!

The remake of the apocalyptic tale that is THE STAND has been brewing for quite a while now. Some time ago we found out that the new adaptation of Stephen King's novel gained a director in Josh Boone. He was also given the task of rewriting the script. He said that “we’re gonna do one three-hour, R-rated version with an amazing A-list cast across the board." Boone went on to say about his version that Stephen King "absolutely loved it."

MTV recently spoke with Stephen King and revealed that he agrees with part of what Boone said but sees the other part differently saying:

“I think his take is terrific and don’t count on it being one film, because there’s talk about doing it in an entirely different and innovative way, and I don’t want to go into that because that’s Josh’s baby."

Whether we get one film or not, it is good to know that King is on board with Boone and his secret plans. At this point, who knows what he has cooking up? We will continue to bring you more on THE STAND.
