Big News For The Next UNDERWORLD Film!

UNDERWORLD is a series of action horror films that began in 2003 with sequels UNDERWORLD: EVOLUTION (2006), UNDERWORLD: Rise of the RISE OF THE LYCANS (2009), and UNDERWORLD: AWAKENING (2012). Back in October of last year we brought you word that the plan was to move forward with another installment in the franchise.

We have now learned that Lakeshore Entertainment and Screen Gems are indeed moving forward on the next UNDERWORLD film as they are bringing back two main stars as well as a new director.

Kate Beckinsale will once again return to reprise her role as Death Dealer Selene which should be pleasing to fans. Also Theo James, who appeared in UNDERWORLD: AWAKENING will reprise his role as David.

Anna Foerster has been giving the directing duties on UNDERWORLD 5 and the script is being written by Cory Goodman.

UNDERWORLD 5 will center around a new generation of vampire and werewolves dealing with a new supernatural conflict.
