Arnold Schwarzenegger To Be A Part Of The New PREDATOR Movie?

Bringing you the best in Horror Movie News, and all things Horror.

Back in 1987 the world saw the release of PREDATOR. A very original and clever setting came along with it as a group of military soldiers found themselves deep within the jungle being hunted down one by one by a mysterious transparent killer alien. We learned quite some time ago that PREDATOR would be heading to the modern era courtesy of Twentieth Century Fox.

One question going around is will we ever see Arnold Schwarzenegger's character of Dutch and the Predator go at it again?

Schwarzenegger spoke out recently at the Arnold Sports Festival saying that he hasn't spoken with Black yet about the new film but:

"I’m going to meet with him for lunch sometime soon. Just as soon as I’m finished with this (Arnold’s Sports Festival) and "The Apprentice" and all this stuff. But I will get together with him. If there is any news, we’ll of course let you know right away."

So there you have it. Schwarzenegger is indeed interested in making a return to the PREDATOR franchise.

Back in 2014, Shane Black was picked to direct and also co-write the script for the new film along with Fred Dekker, for which Black stated that his take was less of a reboot and more of an "inventive sequel," expanding the existing PREDATOR universe instead of retelling the original.

This mark the sixth time that we have seen the Predator on screen including the AVP movies.

20th Century Fox has set the release date for THE PREDATOR to be on March 2nd, 2018.

We will continue to bring you the latest on this story as it unfolds.
