The next installment into the AMITYVILLE film series titled AMITYVILLE: THE AWAKENING has been in the works for a long while now. When the movie's release date was first made, it was quickly pushed back into the land of wonder for some time until it was then given a release date of April 15, 2016. Then the film's release date was moved forward to April 1, 2016. That has once again changed.
We have just learned that AMITYVILLE: THE AWAKENING has once again had a change in it's release date. The film is now scheduled to arrive in theaters on January 6th 2017.
AMITYVILLE: THE AWAKENING is directed by Frankc Khalfoun and produced by Jason Blum.
The film stars Jennifer Jason Leigh, Bella Thorne, McKenna Grace, Cameron Monaghan, Taylor Spreitler, Thomas Mann and Jennifer Morrison.
Synopsis:
“Belle, her little sister, and her comatose twin brother move into a new house with their single mother Joan in order to save money to help pay for her brother’s expensive healthcare. But when strange phenomena begin to occur in the house including the miraculous recovery of her brother, Belle begins to suspect her Mother isn’t telling her everything and soon realizes they just moved into the infamous Amityville house.”
Remember that AMITYVILLE: THE AWAKENING will now be hitting theaters on January 6th 2017.
