First Look At New "Bub" From DAY OF THE DEAD Remake Is Within!

When George A. Romero's DAY OF THE DEAD 1985 film DAY OF THE DEAD hit the scene, fans were treated to some gore like never before, and today the film is considered a Classic. A remake was made back in 2008 by Steve Miner to a lackluster response.

Fast forward to the present day and DAY OF THE DEAD is once again getting the remake treatment. This time from Nu Image/Millennium and Campbell Grobman Films and director Hector Hernandez Vicens.

Just a few days ago we brought you some casting news and today courtesy of B-D we have the first look at Jonathan Schaech in full makeup as Max, the equivalent of the original film's Bub. We also get a look at his co-star Sophie Skelton.







Here is the description for the new DAY OF THE DEAD remake:

"The post-apocalyptic tale follows a former medical student tormented by a dark figure from her past, who happens to be a half-human, half-zombie hell-bent on destroying her."

Joining Schaech and Skelton in the film are Marcus Vanco, Jeff Gum, Lorina Kamburova,, Nick Loeb, Rachel O’Meara, Debbie Sherman, Luke Cousins, Nathan Cooper, and Cristina Serafini.
