For around a decade now, Victor Salva has been trying his best to make a second sequel for the JEEPERS CREEPERS franchise. Many fans are choosing to boycott the film due to Salva’s criminal history, while other fans feel that it is a major let down that it has been taking so long for the next JEEPERS CREEPERS entry to finally arrive. The first film was able to see great success in both theaters and on the home video releases. Plus the second film raked in $63 million across the globe with only a budget of $17 million. It comes as no surprise that fans would be begging for more. There have been several times when the production on JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 was to supposedly begin, with many setbacks along the way but now things are rolling along smoothly.

With filming now having wrapped on JEEPERS CREEPERS 3, the picture is moving forward with progress.

Gina Philips, who played Trish from JEEPERS CREEPERS, spoke with Diabolique Magazine revealing that Trish will for sure be part of the third film, as well as lead into things for the already written JEEPERS CREEPERS 4.

Philips on her role for JEEPERS CREEPERS 3:

“This is actually not my movie. It doesn’t have a lot to do with Trish. What I do is kinda… I haven’t been told specifically except don’t say much… I am in it in order to launch what happens next.”

She went on to talk about the Trish character in the modern day:

“A lot has changed for Trish over the years. She’s a mother; she’s been through a lot."

Philips then spoke of JEEPERS CREEPERS 4:

“The plan is for this stuff to go to the screen in the next Jeepers Creepers movie.

Victor has written what happens from the second after the conclusion of Jeepers Creepers 3. I think that’s all I’m allowed to say about it but he wrote in such detail and he had a lot of flashbacks to what happened over the years that it made it very easy for me. I got to see what will eventually happen to the character and he put enough flashbacks in there that I got to see what happened to her over the last 15 years.

Let’s just say, there’s more to come.”

Synopsis:

"JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 will show events on the last day of the Creeper’s twenty-three day feeding frenzy, as the skeptical Sergent Tubbs teams up with a task force hellbent on destroying the Creeper for good. The Creeper fights back in gory glory as its enemies grow closer than ever before to learning the secret of its dark origins."
